ohhhhh myyy gawwwwwwwd.
After formal…
Jon and I didn’t dance at my formal, but it went really fun though. It was late when we came back and my feet were tired. I took my heels off and he took off his shoes and coat. Even though we didn’t dance at the party, he put on a slow song. His room was dimmed and it was just us. He put on Sade’s “By Your Side,” and we both danced and held each other tight. It felt perfect.
Getting ready for formal…
[Pats on a nose strip on my nose and opens my sister’s door]
Me: “Hey! Look! I got a nose job!
Her: “It’s about time, hahahahaha”
Me: -__-
I’m getting so tired and fed up of just waiting, waiting, waiting. I’m not sure if I even want it anymore.
I’m usually okay of how my body looks.
I don’t exercise at all. I literally eat whatever I want, whenever I want. Hungry at 12:00 AM? Sure, I think the drive-thru at McDonalds is open. Then now, I noticed my thighs just now. They’re super super squishy and soft. For once, I’m a tad grossed out about my flabby skin. I think I should start toning my legs.
We ate like kings!
I went out with my cousin Natalie to Cheesecake Factory. It was first time being there, so duh I was excited. We seriously ate like no other. We had bread, then we ordered appetizers. She ordered fried shrimp with a type of sauce on the side. I order chicken samosas, which are these little chicken bites, and cilantro sauce on the side. Talk about party in your mouth! Then we spent about 15 minutes looking through the menu, because everything looked so good. I ended up getting the bistro shrimp pasta. She got the steak and fries. UGH. amazing. and also we had drinks! I had the typhoon punch and she had the pink lemonade. My drink was kind of strong, but felt very smooth. We both got pretty buzzed though. THEN! for dessert, a slice of original cheesecake. Ugh……………..probably the best dinner ever, fuck.

One more birthday dinner…
Hopefully there will be a better selection of drinks at this place. :) Good night!
life:
Not published in LIFE. Gay rights event, 1971.
In late 1971, two years after the Stonewall riots in New York sparked the modern gay rights movement in America, and twelve months before LIFE ceased publishing as a weekly, the magazine featured an article on “gay liberation” that, seen a full 40 years later, feels sensational, measured and somehow endearingly, deeply square all at the same time.

I’m done with my rough draft now.
FUCK. it’s late but it’s best to complete it than get a 0. the stupid thing is that i had to discuss 3 social justice movements and two of them was the women’s movement and gay liberation movement. the articles were fun to read and it was easy to talk about those two topics more than the black nationalism.
ugggggggggggggggggggggh i want food. i’ma shower.
Already a bad day…
- Absent for history
- Absent for spanish 004
